Oatmeal Tookies

Heat oven to 375F., grease pan. In a bowl mix 1 cup soft butter, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. soda, 4 tsp. cinnamon, 2 lg. baby food jars of applesauce, 1 small box raisins(optional), 1c. chopped pecans or almonds,11/2 c. wheat flour(regular all purpose is optional). Mix well then by hand add 3 cups rolled oats. It will be stiff. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased pan. Bake until golden brown.
