Birdie Biscuits 2

Either mix ingredients for your favorite recipe for homemade biscuits or use you favorite biscuit mix.

Shape into biscuits less two and put on cookie sheet ready to bake for your family.

Now for the Birdie Biscuits: Take the two ball of biscuit mix that you did not shape for the cookie sheet. Add to that the following:

1/2 jar babyfood sweet potatoes, squash or garden vegetables

1/2 jar babyfood applesauce

2 tbls. wheet germ

1/4 c. handfeeding parrot food

1/4 c. Beak Appetit...any flavor

1/2 c. oatmeal

1 tbls dry crushed red peppers

Mix all together very well. Coat your hands with flour(mixture is sticky) and shape mixture into 2 or more biscuits. Place on cookie sheet with the families bisuits. Bake in oven preheated to 425F. until golden brown.

Break up into serving pieces and give to birds. Freeze leftovers for later.
